-According to urbandictionary, the definition of Arch nemesis is friends from a long time ago that have more or less equivalent powers, but also have opposing ideologies. They are therefore always fighting with each other.
Examples: - Obi Wan and Darth Vader - The Republican and Democratic Parties -Perry the Platypus and Dr. Evil
My Arch nemesis is none other than Minky, Mrs. Teague's classroom pet. While I don't exactly hate Minky, nor do I fear her, but that long tail of hers makes me feel something more like disgust.
I have discussed with Mrs. Teague that if she were to say surgically remove Minky's tail then she and I might actually have a shot a true friendship. Alas, Mrs. Teague denied my request, using something like animal rights as an excuse. Therefore, despite my offer of a olive branch, the hatchet between us, I am afraid, can never be buried.
This being said, I will acknowledge the fact that Minky is a great classroom pet. She is sweet and loving to the kids. However, when I walk into the room she automatically turns and gives me the stink-eye.
I poked her with a glue stick once and I am pretty sure she almost attacked me before she ran into her cardboard house. It was quite a traumatic experience for me.
Ever since the glue stick incident she has done numerous shenanigans to make me look like the bad guy.
Okay, I may have put her in a bowl and threatened to cook her ONCE, but I didn't actually cook her, so that should count for something.
I also decorated her house for Halloween by hanging bats above her cage and taping a scary owl picture above her cage. I mean what rat would love that, right?
Recently, Minky tried to run for student council, posting her Pro-Rat propaganda throughout the school hallways.
There is no way Minky could serve on the RBES Student Council, for one she doesn't even have opposable thumbs!
Of course, I had to reject her nominations, again making me look like the bad guy.
Being such a loving school counselor is a tough job here at RBES, but some has to do it.
*Please note this post was written as a joke to make parents, staff, and students laugh. I do love all our wonderful kiddos at our school, Minky not so much. ;)
