The last days of school are quickly approaching. We want to encourage our students to keep working hard. Many students want to start shutting down after testing season, but we still have so much more to learn.
We have many exciting activities coming up: the Music Program, Field Trips, Benchmark Bash, the Annual Elementary Talent Show, and more. With all this cool stuff, student will not want to miss school in May. I also want to encourage students to read during their summer break. Every year I am in awe of how much our students grow and learn from the beginning of school to these last few weeks. Our teachers do an amazing job. However, reading for just a few minutes every day can give your child an extra boost that can improve on their academic abilities, their creativity, and even their self-esteem. The tips included in this newsletter are from www.allstudentscanshine.com. They have some other great resources for free to help improve reading skills if you would like to check them out. We have had an amazing year! Thank you for sharing your child with us. I believe that we truly have the best students and parents around. -Mrs. English
